Châteaux et Carcassonne

I was totally going to publish this post tonight, but apparently, my feed just decided to start working.
Methinks I’ll publish it tomorrow morning. So you don’t say oh-my-carmen, Amanda’s gone off her rocker. She posted twice today!
Yeah.

This school year has been an interesting one. I’m definitely finishing it up sooner than I have my last two years, but because I started in January, I’m still finishing up two classes. Okay, well, technically three, but only because my teacher takes a long time to grade projects.

You’re probably wondering why there’s a picture of a castle in this post. One of my French projects required castle research on Carcassonne, which is in France near what was the border of France and Aragon. Back in the day. I love this picture though. Something about the lighting makes it absolutely magical.

I want to go there.

(don’t mind me. I’m going back through my Flickr and reposting old photos…)

This year, I’ll be finishing high school. Yep, that’s right. Senior year.
Senior year?
Didn’t high school just start… three years ago? Oh wait. Yeah, three years ago.
Instead of taking most of my courses through my online high school like I have been, I’ll be taking all except one at my community college, probably in the winter semester. This is only because I just figured out what I wanted to do for senior year – too late for fall duel enrollment.
But it’s all good, right?
This fall, I’m going to finish those two classes, start one, and work on college applications. It’ll be a fabulous time to refocus, and I’m looking forward to it.

What are you looking forward to this fall?
