Several years ago, I was able to learn archery from one of my close friends. Now that school, writing and photography have taken over my life, it’s been ages since I pulled out my bow and arrows. My younger sister H, however, learned to shoot from me last year, and has been addicted ever since. She’s the talented one who can train horses and heal animals.
The mutilated feed sack in the picture above is named Fluffy. He makes a great target, and we make way too many morbid jokes about his wounds. Yes, we’re odd.
The lighting was, to be honest, absolutely gorgeous. It was unseasonably warm, and it was amazing to be out enjoying the sunshine again.
Tomorrow: Lightroom Presets #2 (This will include the presets I created for these photos. I’m especially fond of the black and white.)
You have definitely GOT THE EYE! Lovely photos! Black and whites have been my favorites ever since I took photography in college. A long, long, long time ago.
Nice! My brother has a bow/arrows, but doesn't use it very often. I'd love to learn how to use it though — if he'd let me!
And look at you, becoming the daily blogger. π
