Just Three Things (or maybe more)

Hello friends,

If you’re reading in a reader, you should click over. I’ve done a bit of a redesign, using some older elements, etc. Of course, I’m not “done”. But I haven’t worked on it for a bit.
Oh, and by the way, the (ed)-U-Cate tab will be finished soon. I’m very excited about it – remember that I told you I was thinking about a student-to-student section of my blog? Yeah, that’s it. It’s not done yet, but it will be soon. 🙂

Now for the three things:

1.) I got a job (outside of the farm). Isn’t that exciting? Be jealous… especially when I tell you where I’m working.
I get to work at a library. 😀 I get paid to work with books. Amazing, yes? I’m so excited to start in the next few weeks!

2.) I have a new computer. Actually, a laptop to be exact. I got it new for a great deal on Ebay. His name is Hercules. As I type this, I’m transferring files from Herbert II to my new baby. Then, I get to transfer stuff from Herbert I – mainly my inordinately large collection of music. (Over a thousand songs, actually). Before I gush too much about this little beauty (pictures coming soon!), I shall move on to the next thing.

3.) I also got my SAT scores back. I’m… fairly happy. I got an 1820 total. I’m taking it again in the fall to see if I can improve the score a bit, but this one should help with college admissions. Have you all taken the SAT?

More posting is coming. I have some plans for Farmgirl Writes this summer, and I’m excited. 🙂

Oh yeah, speaking of summer, it’s been steamy here. I think it was 100 degrees today. >.< Opal and I have the same feelings, actually.

See? She’s smart just like her mommy. 🙂
