Well well well, guess who’s back?
Actually, scratch that. I’ve been back for four days.
Wait, you thought this post was in photographs, didn’t you? I did too. π
The first two photographs are from the hotel/waterpark we stayed at. The rest are from the historic district of Williamsburg. More are coming very soon!
(I’ll add – it was dismal lighting almost the entire time we were there… some of these turned out okay, but many look terrible. And since Lightroom has expired on me *tear*… More on that coming soon.)
What is your favorite thing (or person) to photograph when you go places?
I have found that I enjoy taking pictures of food… or my friends… π
Food yes… Thank you for making me hungry just now. x)
Welcome back!!! :D. I missed you! (though I've been on a mini blogging vaca, I had to check in on yours!). Did you stay at Great Wolf Lodge?!?! I've always wanted to give it a shot-what did you think of it? And I really like these photos, especially the last one :). I can't wait to hear how everything went (and see more photos)! And sorry for all the exclamation marks… it's almost 4am and I think I got a random spurt of energy xD lol. Goodnight, or morning, or afternoon… good day to you :).
Edit: Do you have any plans of making a new blog button? I'm adding one of those scrolling button gadgets to my blog and am adding your old button (though I'm changing the url so it directs to THIS), but wanted to ask if you're making a new one you would prefer I have ;).
Thank you!! π Yup – that's where we stayed. It was really cool, but probably more fun for my younger sisters than myself. Plus, there were a TON of little kids running around… Which is fine if they're all well behaved… *cough*
P.S – I've been terrible about reading blogs lately. I'm bookmarking my favorites 'cause I barely ever use google anymore. So, I'm gonna pop over very soon. π
I don't have any plans of making a new blog button at the moment, but I may do it later. We'll see. I'm still trying to figure out my sidebars, mentally. π
That looks wonderful! I'm glad you had a great time!!! π
Favorite thing to photograph when I go out is usually signs of buildings and trees. Oh, and the water.
β€ I did. Oh, yeah – water is so much fun to photograph!!!
My daughter taking photos. tee -hee -hee π
tee hee right back atcha… π
I think your photos are lovely, despite what you may say. π My family and I went to Williamsburg a year ago, and I think it is one of my favorite places in the world. I loved walking down the street, feeling as if I had gone back in time… *sigh* 'Twas delightful. I'm reliving these memories through your photos. π
Have a blessed day!
Elizabeth Rose
Thank you, Elizabeth!!
Haha — you stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge! lol. I've never been, but I've heard about it. π I also know exactly where you were, from those paved streets. Did you happen to see Bruton Parish Church? I played there last summer with my harp.
I'm glad you had a good time!!

Yup, I did. Really? It was such a pretty church.
Okay, I'm sorry, but we have to get together one of these days. We live terribly close for never having met one-another. =(

Very interesting. My son just moved to Williamsport so I am looking forward to the “tour”
It's a lovely town! Thanks for commenting!
We love Williamsburg! Have you ever been to Old Salem in Winston Salem, NC? It's awesome too! I like to photograph random people (mostly in black and white) and historic buildings…and then the birds!
