My Exponentially-Growing Reading List

You know, I never knew how many cool books there were at my library before. Now that I’m working there, of course, I find loads of these gems while shelving books and straightening shelves.

Confession: I have an ginormous stack of books sitting next to me. (Whoa, Google Chrome seriously just recognized ginormous as a word. Epic. :D)

I’m also currently reading Wish by Alexandra Bullen. The Joy Luck Club is sitting across the room – it should actually be added to the list/stack.

However, because I’m a little bit too glued to the computer right now, across the room is where it’ll have to stay.

You’ll have to excuse me, darlings. I got off of work a little while ago, and have fallen into my unconditionally lazy mode.

Unconditionally lazy.

This is scaring me.

On second thought, I shall go add that book to the stack, so I can be remotely organized.

Ha. Like ya’ll are fooled….

  1. I haven't read the other books, but I loved "The Joy Luck Club" πŸ™‚

If you enjoy Chinese related books, I would suggest reading "China Men" by Maxine Hong Kingston. I read that too and I'm going to read her other book "The Woman Warrior".

  2. Wow — that's a lot of books! If you can, look for YA books by Michelle Cooper. Her Montmary trilogy (of which there are 2 books out) is really good, and what I'm reading currently (on the side of my final AP Lit assignments of course…) I love books!! I'd also recommend anything by Lisa Klein.

PS: Love the new design. πŸ˜€

  3. I love the Shakespeare Stealer! The other books in the series were ok too. "Book of a Thousand Days" was good but DEFINITELY not my favorite of Hale's works.

Tell us how you like "The Summer I Turned Pretty" and "Pride and Predjudice and Zombies". πŸ™‚

  4. Amanda, I think we should do a reading club (when we have the time, of course!) and read the same books at about the same time, that way we can discuss their epicness/horribleness together.
