Thoughts of Spring

Today, I’m going to be awesome and join up with Lynnette Kraft’s Thoughts of Spring blog party. ๐Ÿ™‚ Did that sound like I have an ego? Naw, couldn’t possibly be me. Not in the least…
Ahem.

Photobucket

To start off, in case you don’t know who I am…

I am a teenage farmgirl…

Who adores photography, web design, music, fashion, writing, her family, school, and her friends.

It’s very difficult to summarize my whole personality in a few sentences…
Carry on.

Now for the questions:

How would people describe your personality? (If they could only use ONE word.) Are they right?
Unfortunately, many people would describe my personality using many different words that could vary on the day that they just happened to see me. I’m going to make a wild guess and say…. adorable just kidding. More likely? Friendly. And yes, I am definitely friendly. And outgoing, and hysterical…

What celebrity/celebrities would create a โ€œStar-Struckโ€ feeling if you saw them in real life?
Sandra Bullock. I would probably act like a freak if I saw her.
Don’t ask.
It probably would be embarrassing.

Who is your favorite blogger? Why?
Darn – I have a lot of favorite bloggers. In all honesty, the one(s) that I look at every single time they post are Olivia at Oh, Horsefeathers, and Carlotta, at Pastor’s Girl’s Ponderings.
Oh wait, that’s not just one.
I obviously can’t count. And neither can I decide between the two.
So there.

What is your comfort food/drink?
At home: Well, my lovely mother just got a soda stream, which means we can carbonate water and make our own healthy drinks. Yum. Comfort food? Pasta (and cheese).

Away: a Starbucks White Hot Chocolate. Every time, baby. ๐Ÿ™‚

Be brave โ€“ tell us something very random and weird about yourself.
I have the infamous reputation of being able to eat an entire package of cream cheese in one sitting. But shhhh, don’t tell anyone.
In case that sounds gluttonous – a package of cream cheese is better than a package of cookies… And better for you. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Do you have a strong desire to do something youโ€™ve never done? What is it?
Yes, of course I do! Among many other things, I’d love to travel, as a journalist, to different countries to cover international events. Doesn’t that sound crazily awesome?

Movies: Action, Drama, Romantic Comedy, Documentary, Comedy? What are your favorite genres?
Generally, a mix of Action, Romance and Comedy. *coughLordoftheRingscough*

Books: Fiction, Non-Fiction, Romance, Biographies, True Stories, Self-Help, Devotional/Study? What are your favorite types of reading material?
Fiction for sure. Generally, I’m a fantasy kinda girl. In case you could tell from the Lord of the Rings comment above. ๐Ÿ™‚

Music: Funk, Rock, Country, Jazz, Classical, Film Score, Blues, Classic Rock, Crooner, Alternative, Heavy Metal, Techno? What are your favorite types?
My iPod is like a mix-station of the most popular (and/or most odd/awesome) music on the market. At least that I deem acceptable, which excludes much of the generic pop music.
Ahem.
Generally, I’m a Rock/Pop/Broadway kinda girl.

If you inherited a million dollars, what is the first thing you would do with your money?
Apply to the college(s) of my choice, without having to worry about paying for them. ๐Ÿ™‚ Ah, thanks for making me wish very hard just now for a million dollars…

Name one weakness of yours (confession is good for the soul).
Cheese.
Cheese.
Cheese.
Did I mention cheese?

If you could live anywhere at all (and take all your loved ones with you), where would you go?
Switzerland.

Strange Talent? Can you juggle basketballs, put your legs behind your head or perform some other strange feat?
I am fabulously uncoordinated. So I have no strange talents in that department for sure.
Ah, yes. I can trip up stairs. Now that is a feat, wouldn’t you agree?

Whatโ€™s something you consider yourself to be good at? (Donโ€™t worry, itโ€™s not bragging, itโ€™s acknowledging a God given gift).
Web design, most of the time. Piano, when I practice. (Guess what I’m going downstairs to do?) Socializing. ๐Ÿ˜‰

What is one of your favorite things to catch a whiff of?
Chocolate chip cookies, fresh out of the oven. And the smell of the soil, after it rains.

When you leave a social gathering, do you wish: You would have talked more or You would have talked less?
Less. ๐Ÿ™‚ I don’t have to worry about talking too little… That is certainly not my affliction.

If money wasnโ€™t a factor, what stores would you shop in?
Shabby Apple, for sure. (love) And lots of other places. As long as the clothes are cute, I’m pretty much there. ๐Ÿ™‚

What is your greatest fear or strange phobia?
People dressed as statues of liberty waving signs on street corners…
Ahem.

What is your greatest accomplishment?
This is terrible – I’m having a hard time thinking of my “greatest accomplishment”. Hey, ya know; I still have plenty of time to live that one out. ๐Ÿ™‚

What are your favorite animals?
Cats, rabbits, and horses. The first two live in my room. Together.
(The cat is scared of the rabbit.)
The third one, I am glad to say, does not.
Phew.

Are you a hopeless romantic?
Yes. ๐Ÿ™‚ Well, not hopeless… At least, I hope not. (Excuse the pun. It was intentional.)

What movie or book character can you most relate to?
There are a few, but I don’t relate to their life experiences as much as I do their personality. Probably the most notable one is Emily Warwick, from the Cape Light novels. She’s probably one of my favorite literary characters of all time, as a matter of fact.

That was intensely refreshing. If you stuck with me through this whole post, you deserve a cookie. Or a brick of cream cheese. Take your pick, m’dears.

Now, head on over to Lynnette Kraft’s blog and join in on the blog party!

  1. Late for the blog party (that I hosted), but here! ๐Ÿ™‚

I LOVE cheese too! I don't know if I could eat a whole package of cream cheese, but I might try someday. Sounds fun! ha!

One time when we were at the Precious Moments museum, a lady totally FREAKED OUT at a Precious Moments human statue thing. I honestly thought she was having a heart attack.

I like Sandra Bullock too. She kind of reminds me of myself in some ways.
Thanks for the invite! I enjoyed my visit.
