Happy Monday, and happy first-day-back-at-school, for many of you… Not that all of you were happy, so to speak, but ah… that’s not the point.
1. School
I started school again today – it’s the beginning of the 2nd semester of my Junior year. However, because of collectively getting behind, I’m actually trying to accomplish 2 semesters-worth of work within 1. And still have a summer break…
Since my entire day has been schoolwork, I’ll give you a quick overview of what I learned about my classes today.
2. Classes – an overview
Algebra 2 – So far so good. However, since I’m only reviewing concepts from Algebra 1, I won’t hold my breath…
AP European History – Interesting. The formatting of the course is very different, so I’m having trouble getting used to how it’s presented. The first few days are always a little… boring, because of the amount of introduction content presented.
Digital Media – Cool… I just delved into the course this evening. It looks like it will be really fun, but the web design section doesn’t look terribly hard (or terribly interesting, for that matter).
French II – Awesome. Granted, given my three-week break, I’m a bit out of practice. However, I love the course so far.
English 3 Honors – Love at first sight. I adore this course already… Need I say anymore?
Environmental Science – Haven’t started yet. Because it’s correspondence (not online), it’s going to be interesting to schedule this course. However, the content doesn’t look that hard, from what I’ve seen.
3. sight and sound
Remember last Monday, when I posted that I might not be able to go to Sight and Sound? As you all know, I was able to go after all, however, today I received an email from a member of the Sight and Sound promotions team checking to make sure I was able to make it there… How awesome is that? Have I ever told you that I love Sight and Sound?
Unfortunately, I only have three, very narrow miscellanies for you today. Anyone wanna guess why? π
If you ever need help with AP Euro, let me know! I felt the exact same way — very very different.
And, I loved loved English 3 as well. I'm glad you like it. It is a great overview of the way literature was written, through history. Excellent.

Have fun with all that schoolwork! I'm entering the second semester of my sophmore year…hope it goes well!
Have a great 2011!
Wow sounds like a workload to me! Blessings on all of it!
Why did you only have three? I can't guess π
Following you from Miscellany Monday with lowercase letters.
