Yes, it’s that time of year. No, I do not go to prom (homeschooled = no prom = fine with me), but I love looking at the elegant prom dresses for sale. Unfortunately, many of them are “sexy”, which means something extremely low-cut and immodest. When will people learn that you don’t have to look “sexy” to look nice?
Anyhow, I’m to post a couple of dresses from looking through promdressshop.com that I really really love. Note that some of them are lower then I’d normally wear.. (All images belong to the said website).
Oh, and guys, sorry, but I sincerely doubt you’d be interested in this post… I mean it. 😀 This is me being totally girly. (hehe)
This is so pretty! I love the exquisite beadwork on it and the dress color.

They also have this one in olive green…. *faints*

I love how this one is feminine, and way modest! They also have it in light blue… 🙂

This is…. well… gorgeous!

*drops* I love my blues…. and the beadwork on this is beautiful!!!
Now, for the above five dresses, I had to look through 7-8 pages of not-so-nice dresses. I mean, what are people wearing these days???
Off for now! “See” you tomorrow! 🙂
I’ll be posting more farm-related stuff this week.

I started my blog as a 13-year-old farmgirl... and now I'm twenty-something seminarian. My blog is a chronicle of these crazy adventures.

They are so pretty! I do wish they made more modest ones though. I really like the second one. The blue is so beautiful. I just found your blog and I'm really enjoying it! Kepp up the great work! Blessings, Laura
I absolutely adore the first one. I'm a sucker for bead work. Not to mention I miss having an excuse to dress up like this, get my hair done, and go out someplace fancy to eat. All things I don't do normally because it isn't me, but it's always nice to look.I like your selections. And I'm still trying to figure out why some people equate modest with unsexy. It's about how you carry yourself. Cheers,Molly Louise
The first one looks like a wedding dress to me. I think the fourth one would be my choice. Imagine shopping for shoes to go with it. Yes, shoes. Glorious shoes. Oh how I love shoes!!!!The Shoe Princess
*sigh*… I'm going to prom. I don't care WHAT I have to do… its not fine with me. I have to go.
