You know that feeling, when you don’t really want anything?
Yes, seriously – that feeling. Ever had it?
Every year, I feel like I need to make a list for the things I will randomly say “Oh, I want that! Maybe I’ll ask for it for my birthday or something.” But every year, when my birthday rolls around, I realize that I’ve forgotten all those things that I wanted.
And you know what?
That’s okay.
I don’t need anything. I’m content. There are so many things that would be cool to ask for, but ya know what? I don’t need them. I feel content right now – tapping away at my computer screen. Typing this wonderfully random blog post to more than 200 of the best people ever. Not needing anything. Not wanting anything right now. (Wait, that’s not entirely true. I’m busting at the seams to know what my family is mysteriously hinting at – it has to do with my birthday on Sunday…)
Ok, well, I’ll find out in a few days.
Until then, I’m going to rejoice in being content, and confident in my Savior who is above all. Now that’s something to be content about.

As my Birthday and Christmas is in the same month I have a lot of your feelings. All through the year I think I should write this or that down and I never do remember. And if I do then It's someting that I really will use or like.
Thanks for reminding me that I don't need a lot of stuff to make me happy. I'm happy to be with my family on our farm with our animals.
